This restaurant was great.
We stopped in as we had heard good things about this restaurant from co-workers, and I had a good feeling about eating here. (I understand any eye rolling, but it's sports.)
As we went through the first set of doors, I knew that I had been correct. Painted on the second set of doors, was painted "The Unofficial Official OSU Bar."
We opted to sit at the bar as we find it to be more social, and enjoyed the decorations. There were Ohio State flags, banners, and pennants hanging throughout the restaurant. This was obviously a seasonal decoration approach, but much appreciated by my husband and myself.
I did notice decorations that also reflected Indianapolis throughout the restaurant, a large Miller Light replica car, and a countdown to the Super Bowl.
My husband ordered a sandwich, I ordered potato skins, and between the 2 of us we had 3 bottled beers. The total bill was around $32. The food was very good food, and the service was good. The bartender was friendly enough, although not overly friendly.
I would definitely return to this restaurant -- even during non - NCAA times.
