A Local Favorite, and with Good Reason

Good food - much like good accommodations - is hard to come by in Georgetown. We asked around for a good restaurant recommendation from locals, and multiple people recommended the Dutch Bottle...and with good reason.
The Dutch Bottle offers a variety of Guyanese cuisine - including pepperpot and garlic pork - in a pleasant atmosphere. There were also a handful of decent options that featured fresh fruits and vegetables, which can be hard to come by in Georgetown. The restaurant also offers a full bar.
After some time in the Guyanese Interior, a meal and drinks and the Dutch Bottle can be a welcome re-entry into civilianization.
