Sin for a Good Price!

They say gluttony is one of the cardinal sins, I think I had a touch of it last Sunday. It's common practice in Warsaw for pizza places to deliver leaflets on Thursday and Friday during the day as they know they'll be overloaded with hungover calls and that the hungover specimen normally reaches for the closest pizza leaflet! I am one of these so called specimens.
Last week, I was a little bombarded with leaflets in fact - usually it's the same few companies but this time round there were 2 completely different leaflets. I decided to give Prima Pizza a go first as their promotional offer looked the most attractive.
Their current offer is 1 large pizza (prices range from 20zl to 30zl) - that's £4-£6 and the 2nd large pizza providing it costs less than the 1st is a mere 5zl (£1), Large pizzas they were - big enough for 2, possibly even 3. I ordered a Quattro Formaggi and a Caprese (basil, pesto, cheese, tomato, mozarella, tomato sauce), initially I thought that my wife would want one but when she told me she didn't, I was a bit taken aback having ordered it. Oh well, I thought - I have to eat two!
They were so delicious that I tore through them, knowing that it was a huge amount of food and enough for half of the UK Olympic team. I can't fault the food at all, it seemed as though authentic Italian ingredients were used and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again - unlike many of the pizza places, this one also has a large amount of other dishes available - pastas, lasagnas and Italian meat dishes.
Various ice creams, coffees, wines, salads and soups are also available, they have two sit-in restaurants but also deliver for free within a certain catchment area. The new kids on the block have definitely impressed me! I have a sneaky feeling that the prices may creep up a bit as it's extremely affordable at the moment!
