Here's a Tip: Order "To-Go"

This IHOP location is in stuck in between a variety of other fast food places, almost all of which would be a better fare on most days. However, the one thing that this IHOP has going for it are its hours (24-hour restaurant are always a plus in my book), and the fact that the restaurant is located in a safe area of Newark. There is always at least one Newark police officer sitting within a booth (for unknown reasons).

The food is generally on par with the rest of the IHOP's I have visited, although the waitstaff here can occasionally be moody. This location has a slightly altered menu that I have not been able to find anywhere else, with additional pages of soul food dishes.

The restaurant is clean and has plenty of available seating/parking. I would recommend going to this place sparingly, as both the waitress attitudes and the overly oily food should only be taken in small doses.
