Wonderful Coffee and Light Meals

Kayak's is a wonderful spot in St. Louis to stay for several hours to work on paper work, homework, or on your laptop. The cafe is directly across the street from Washington University, therefore there are often many students there. Kayak's brews Altera coffee which is wonderful. They also offer an extensive assortment of pastries, bagels, yogurt parfaits, waffles, and breakfast sandwiches. During the lunch and dinner hours, they offer sandwiches, pizzas, soups, and salads. For dessert, I recommend the S'Mores as they bring a portable 'campfire' if you will, to your table so you can roast marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate. Parking in the area is scarce due to its proximity to Washington U and a residential area, however there is a Metro station directly outside if you are coming on MetroLink. Overall, Kayaks is a great spot to chill.
