Namaste India is a strange one, a new comer on the scene, it opened up 2 years ago and swiftly became recognised as the best Indian food in town, they're always packed with customers and orders, covering catering and often holding Bollywood themed parties in clubs across the city.
They've also done a fair bit of advertising and putting their name about, so why they decided to have the smallest seating arrangement in the whole city is beyond me! Two tables at the side of a busy queue is not exactly a romantic setting, the maximum capacity of this place has to be around 4 or 5! Most people pre-order their food and then come and pick it up, the food is outstanding and I've never heard anyone say a bad word about it, what is even more amazing is the incredibly low prices. A meal here normally costs in the region of 15-20zl (4 to 5 pounds) and yet the ingredients are all genuine, this really is a case of a restaurant turning out as many superb meals as possible and spending less money on the seating.
This makes it considerably cheaper than any other restaurant in town and it has won over numerous food fans, so much so that last year it already opened up another venue called Namaste Clay Oven that is located in the old town, this place is a little more roomier but still has a ridiculously low capacity (12!)
Opening Hours at both restaurants are 12:00-22:00 and both have central locations but I suppose that Clay Oven is where you want to be heading as a tourist as it's a tad larger and bang in the Old town.
