Frankie's is the kind of restaurant that keeps you coming back for more. The food is very good, portions are generous, and the garlic rolls and salad keep coming as long as you want them to.
One of my favorites in the ziti and eggplant. The marinara and ricotta are flavorful, but do not overwhelm the eggplant - which is tender enough to cut with your fork.
My hubby enjoys the angel hair pasta with meatballs and meat sauce. The meatballs are fairly large and the sauce has enough meat to satisfy the hungriest carnivore.
No matter what you choose off the fairly extensive menu, you are sure to be happy with it.
The desserts are delicious - especially the chocolate torte. Take half of your dinner home in a "doggie bag" and save some room for one of the many dessert choices.
If you live in the area (or know someone who does) keep an eye out for coupons in the mail. Frankie's has coupons for "buy one, get one free" for the lunch and dinner menus and they also have coupons for Pizza specials - some of the best pizza, stromboli and calzone in the area.
