Modern Cuisine - I'll be Back here Again!

This was an amazing restaurant, one I'm very glad we found! Its interior was effortlessly cool and the food fabulous!

The staff here were really helpful - when we arrived, although there were tables free, they offered us a seat while they cleared one with a view. There followed bread and olive oil while we made up our minds what to eat - I went for salted cod with petit pois. It wasn't typical Spanish cuisine and whoever cooked it had a creative streak. Sangria washed the meal down well!

Coffee afterwards came in what looked like a crumpled paper cup - until we discovered it was ceramic! That pretty much summed up our eating out experience - everything seemed normal when you ordered it but was presented with a twist.

Brown was slightly more expensive than other places we'd been eating and the portions a bit smaller, though our unlimited bread made this less of an issue. The price and style of the food reflected the cool area in which we were eating out - it fits in well with Passeig de Gracia, full of famous modernista buildings and designer stores. It's somewhere I'll definitely come back to again!
