Beautiful Interior
On our last day we passed this place and decide to go in for a drink. This became a bottle of white wine between us and a beef burger to share. It was very quiet at 5pm which suited us just fine as the staff had lots of time for talking to us about the cowley road area and how their restaurant came to being. We were told it is very new and only opened 1 week ago. We sat at the bar for another hour after our food until, unfortunately, we had to leave for our connection but it was a lovely place we would have like to stay longer.
Try the mexican burger with guacamole. Perfect place for sunny days in the garden at the back. We see you in a few month time!

I visited the new Oxford Organic Burger Restaurant at the weekend for early dinner after hearing good things from people who had beaten me to it and I was not disappointed.
After placing our order we were both served a small salad in a wooden bowl which we agreed was a nice touch. After about 15-20 minutes my classic beef burger arrived with a bowl of chunky chips - nice and simple, perfectly cooked and all organic meat which makes such a difference. My friend who is vegetarian - and wasn't sure about my choice of venue for that reason! - ordered a falafel salad which was served with tzatziki and lots of exotic leaves. It looked delicious and from the noises she made while eating it I presume it tasted as good as it looked!
Finished off by sharing a good old fashioned knickerbocker glory and a waffle with ice cream. Two of my oldest favourites and they lived up to expectations.
Our waitress, Zara, was charming and looked after us very well. All in all a great success. Kids welcome too by the looks of things. Keep up the good work Oxford Organic!
