Pizza Hut

Of all the Pizza Hut locations on the Big Island, this is my favorite. Located at the Puainako Shopping Center, this Pizza Hut is nicely decorated with a lot of seating and good service. We often eat here when my family wants to eat Pizza. The pizzas here run about $12.00 for a one topping medium pizza and $14.00 for a two topping medium pizza. My husband and son usually order the medium pizzas or the buffet which runs about $11.00 and I order the chicken ceasar salad that costs about $10.00. Their buffet includes an all you can eat buffet of pizza, pasta, and breadsticks with a free refillable drink. On weekends it can get a bit crowded around lunch time so it is best to go after 1:00 p.m. or before 11:00 a.m. in order to get a good seat. Service is fast so the wait is minimal unless you go to Pizza Hut at noon during lunchtime. It is conveniently located right across the street from The Prince Kuhio Shopping Plaza and it is within one block of Walmart and Borders. There are also grocery retailers like KTA at the Puainako Shopping Center. As far as parking, the lot can get full near Pizza Hut but you can find parking within walking distance. There is a restroom located at this Pizza Hut near the side entrance. Pizza Hut also does pizza deliveries and carryout service. I would recommend stopping at this Pizza Hut located if you are in the area or coming back to Hilo from the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
