RIOZ Brazilian Steakhouse is an extraordinary steakhouse without any questions. Many people say it is their best experience, but to us a little restaurant called Dunbars near Peterborough is definitely the best. Another review for another time. When one enters the Rioz it is quite beautiful, big, dark and very busy. Our reservation was for 5:30 and the place was packed already for dinner. Rioz opens up at 4:00 daily. To begin with there is a salad and seafood buffet bar and it is amazing. The best salad bar we have ever encountered. The price is $35.00 per person for the buffet and it includes the salad bar and dinner. Desert and drinks are extras. Well this was no ordinary dinner as the first course is the salad and then comes the meat when one is ready.
The head waiter/manager comes to the table, explains how the dinner will unfold. Coasters are given with Yes Please on one side and No Thank You on the other for the meat serving. The serving of the meat comes in skewers which has been bar-b-qued with wood. When the waiters see that your coaster is turned up green for yes please they are right there with the meat slicing right in front of you. There are 15 different cuts of beef, lamb, poultry and pork. The restaurant is very busy, the staff is excellent, the service is excellent. Anyone visiting Myrtle Beach should take the opportunity to experience the Rioz. Myself in particular is not a big meat person, so this type of restaurant was a bit too much food for myself. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera so I don't have any pictures to post, but their website www.rioz.com has all the information
