Mac's Steak & Seafood

A short distance from the North Exit and Entry of DFW International Airport is the very fine Mac's Steaks and Seafood Restaurant. A really nice place to get a meal going or coming from the big airport or if you are in the area for a visit or longer. The food is extremely fresh and well prepared with an emphasis on New Orleans and Cajun cooking and spices. Laid back service (you will never be rushed) and a large menu means that you will be able to find something you will enjoy from steaks to shrimp dishes and sandwiches. You can advise the cook to cool down the spices if you don't care for hot, hot!

My friend had a plate of large and spicy shrimp and I had a chicken salad sandwich. My sandwich was a little too heavy on the salad dressing but did taste very good.

Beverages include the standard Texas sized ice tea, popular even in winter, and a full range of choices of alcoholic beverages including a vast selection of beers. The coffee is New Orleans style which means strong and served very hot. That is why there are so many choices of sweetners on each table!

Mac's is a very popular place with folks who work in local businesses. If you don't recognize the name of the town 'Colleyville', just remember the restaurant is not far to the west of DFW International Airport.
