Local Secrets, Big Finds 2007 Pick

  • February 4, 2008
  • Rated 5 of 5 by Local Secrets from New York, New York
Candy addicts and chocoholics may have heard about Christopher Elbow, who's worked in kitchens the likes of Emeril Lagasse's Delmonico Steakhouse and Paris Resort and Casino. At his "artisanal" shop in Kansas City, Elbow elevates chocolate to an art form, with each piece looking like a small sculpture. But this is art that tastes "heavenly." With assortments including: caramel with fleur de sel, Venezuelan spice, fresh lime, and bourbon pecan, "each chocolate is lovingly hand-crafted." All in all, it’s "one great find" for anyone with even the smallest sweet tooth.
