The Four Way

This place is as classic as they come. It's over 50 years old and looks the part. This place has seen presidents come and go, buildings erected, and racism fall. This being the heart of the South and also the last state to end segregation, it only makes sense that, on the back half of this small order-to-go restaurant, there is a small window that used to be used for blacks only. Now, of course, this is out of commission, but it's still eerily strange to see.

The Four Way has some of the fastest, greasiest, and tastiest hand-cooked food in Cartersville. At lunchtime, there are lines out the door, mainly because there is only enough room inside for about six people to stand. If you're ever in Cartersville, this is a must-do. This place is a local legend, and people are proud of it.

The food is great. It's all classic Southern food to go. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, sandwiches, etc. Everything's great. It's hard to recommend any one item from the menu. I usually go with the All-American classic cheeseburger. It's big, it's greasy, and it's delicious. If, for some reason, you get lost and can't find The Four Way, just ask. Anyone in town -- even someone new -- can point you in the right direction!
