The fanciest diner you'll ever go to (in Newark)

Tops Diner is one of the oldest landmarks in the Newark area, having been around for some 30 odd years. The prices are slightly pricier than the "average" diner would cost; dishes cost about 3 or 4 dollars higher on the whole. However. the quality of the food is excellent and portions are gigantic. No, seriously...Don't order on an empty stomach or you'll be taking home food for the next week.

If you manage to muster the herculean effort of actually finishing your meal, the desert at this place is on par with some of the nicest bakeries I've been to. There is also a trendy looking bar area, if needed.

All in all, this is perhaps the "Top" diner in the area and a definite cure for stomach grumblings on a cold night.
