As far as places go, this was surprisingly good and cheap. I say surprising because it doesn't have to be all that good -- in the town of Milford Sound, there really isn't anywhere else you can go to get something to eat. At night, the pub gets a bit busy (usually a string of hikers from the Milford Track are in, blowing off steam) and the pool table and darts in back will get a good work out.
Food is pretty standard pub grub, with service a cut above what you might have otherwise expected.
