Sandy Goes from Staten Island, New York
This cute and tiny bistro was a delight for lunch. Our group of five ladies arrived about 11:30pm to an empty cafe. It quickly filled up by 12pm.
Delightful and attentive server pointed out the daily specials, as well as providing a very interesting lunch menu. Sharing two sandwiches with a friend was a good idea. One was a roast turkey breast with strawberry jam, cheddar, bacon, and red onion for $8. The other sandwich was panko crusted tilapia wrap with lemon dill aioli and carrot cucumber slaw for $8. Both were delicious. The fish sandwich was a bit smaller and I could have eaten the entire sandwich. The soup of the day gazpacho was interesting served with large chunks of squash and sweet potato, cup $3.
Delightful spot with great menu. Most lunch entrée items were $8-12.
