Medora Ice Cream Parlor and Fudge Depot

On a hot summer day this is the place to stop and cool off. It can get quite crowded. The ice cream parlor part offers about a dozen flavors of homemade ice cream including cotton candy, bubble gum, and licorice. It is very good tasting ice cream, especially when it was over 100 degrees outside the day we were in Medora. They also sell homemade fudge here, but we did not try any since it seemed too hot to eat fudge when we could instead have ice cream. This place has some indoor seating, which was filled up when we went in for ice cream. They do have outdoor seating, but with the hot weather it was more enjoyable to stand inside and eat. This place had good working air-conditioning, so that made it an even more enjoyable stop on our walk around town.
