The restaurant is located in the financial district of Norfolk. Its central location made it easy to walk from all the hotels downtown. Trilogy is an old school renovated bank building. Inside, the integrity and commitment to the old architecture is obvious. The host promptly sat us and we began to take in all the wonderful smells and ambience of the room. The restaurant is a steak and seafood house, so we opted to share the filet mignon and the crabcake entrée. Both presentations and flavors were excellent! The service throughout the meal was on point. The wine steward helped us with our selections without being pushy or pretentious. Everything about the place was cool-from the service, the decor, and the food from the show kitchen. Our server took us around the restaurant showing us the old safes in the kitchen. Great drink menu, great scotches, great desserts! If you are visiting the Hampton Roads area-make sure you try this restaurant. It is definitely big city and would stand up to any of the great American restaurants.
