What an amazing restaurant. This restaurant is in the cut. Completely a local restaurant, no tourists in sight. The food was out of this world. In NYC, we have a lot of wonderful places to choose from, especially seafood, but nothing here can top this spot! We tried the seafood platter for two, it had conch, lobster, shrimp, octopus, and fish. It came with a small amount of rice - ask for more - no charge, the nachos were great - pico de gallo amazing. If you like spicy - try the yellow sauce! Habanero pepper sauce. Yummy! I believe this place may also be known as la perlita. Enjoy!
By the way, 5 or 6 dollar cab ride from Melia, they may try to charge you 8. Talk them down to 5.
