Best Seafood Dinner on the Island

The previous review by jessiekin is way off. First of all, who goes to a chincoteague seafood restaurant and orders a steak? They have some of the best seafood I've ever had - anywhere. Treat yourself to the seafood smothered flounder, affectionately known as "SMOFLO", or any of the other excellent seafood entrees. The prices are quite reasonable, too. Go to http://www.chincoteague.com/rest/AJS.html for the menu. It is true that the choices of restaurants on the island are not many, but you can't go wrong with AJ's; you'll love it. If I didn't live so far away, I'd go there tonight for dinner.

Aj's was a nice atmosphere. The food was pretty good but not great. Chincoteague really is not known for the best dining out experiences. I had a steak here and it was fair. I don't think the food here is worth the prices. I do think Aj's is your best bet for getting a fairly decent meal on Chincoteague, there is not much to choose from.
