Port-O-Call

We ate two meals at this restaurant in downtown Hamilton on Front Street. Port-O-Call is one of the finer restaurants in Bermuda, right up there with the Four Ways and possibly even slightly better. It’s a world class restaurant.

We first tried it for lunch and had an excellent quality burger and salmon dish. We were so impressed with our luncheon that we visited it late in the week for dinner. We were not disappointed.

I had a very unusual and tasty non-cream based carrot and orange soup with a dash of Triple Sec – YUM! For the main course, I had a delectable salmon. She opened with a spinach, walnut and blue cheese salad, and had an excellent half orange glazed duck.

Overall, this is one of the finest restaurants on the island, but also probably one of the most expensive. We were able to bring our own wine in for a $15 corkage fee.
