Great Sushi

I can't visit Annapolis without going to Nana Asian Dining. The sushi seemed good to me, and I am by no means an expert. I brought a fellow classmate when I was here last December, and he lives in San Diego now and says he has a sushi restaurant there that is fantastic. He also was a manager at a sushi restaurant in Nantucket for over 2 years. He told me Nano is really good. It rivals the one in San Diego. One observation he made was the freshness of the tuna, which you can judge by the color. He said it is never frozen at Nano. He was also impressed by the fact that they use fresh cut tuna for the hand rolls. Most restaurants use scraps from other tuna rolls and sushi to make hand rolls, but not Nano. I hope to convince my wife and some friends to come here on a weekender vacation. While my wife does not eat sushi, she will definitely enjoy the blue crabs and ribs at Buddy's.

Amazing! I was always a huge Joss fan but the new Nano on Main St. is now my only choice for sushi. Decorated in beautiful, bright, warm, and lively colors the atmosphere is much more hip than traditional Annapolis restaurants. The food is amazing! I highly suggest the Valentine roll. It is on a menu of specialty rolls. The specialty rolls, no lie, are as big as my forearm. One roll easily fills me up. They also recently added Japanese style floor and table seating, only adding to the entire experience. Happy eating!
