La Estancia, established in 1962, serves some really good Argentinian food. We wanted to sample their beef steak, so we didn't go for their set meals of ARP68, and instead ordered à la carte. Their simple lettuce, tomato, and onion salad with oil and vinegar was tasty. There is a bread table service charge of APR5 per person but the rolls were fresh; you'll forget about the bread sticks after tasting their rolls. The 350ml bottled red wine was fruity and tasty. The T-bone steak, which came with fries, for APR27 was excellent, cooked to order. The service was very good. There are Tango and Folk shows on weekends. This restaurant was the highlight of our brief visit dining for Buenos Aires of the places we tried.
