The Great Canadian Pub

If you have to have a North American sports fix while you’re visiting Paris, here’s the place! Like a classic sports bar back home, the Great Canadian has lots of TVs with satellite feed and plenty of North American beer on tap and familiar game food. Although it’s primarily a hangout for Canadians, NFL football is a big draw on weekends and attracts plenty of Americans. We had a great time watching the Bears play the Patriots late on a Sunday, with everyone picking sides and getting riled up! Hockey’s also on (of course) and just about any sport broadcast by SkySports. They also serve an American style brunch on late Sunday mornings, which we enjoyed. They have a sidewalk table area, right on the river, just down from St. Michel. Friendly servers and atmosphere.
