What a great place for BBQ! I´ve never seen steaks of this size, I could not finish them. I believe a picture communicates more than words, so I uploaded my best pictures to this google blog for your enjoyment: http://argentina-food-wine-places.blogspot.com. I highly recommend traveling to this city, you will find warm and amazing people eager to show you all the beauty of this wonderful country!! BTW, the girls ARE pretty. :)

Cabaña Las Lilas was one of my most enjoyable experiences of dining. The meats are of very good quality and the appetizers are very varied. The wines are of a very good quality.

Dining at this institution of Buenos Aires was a treat for the senses. The terrace allows you to a great dining atmosphere. The sweetbreads (an Argentine favorite) are mouthwatering and tender. The filet is by far, one of the best I have ever had. My favorite part, the dessert - crepes with warm Dulce De Leche and Vanilla Ice Cream. Incredible!

This large, but not cavernous, restaurant delivers Argentine cuisine in a beautiful setting in Puerto Madero on the water. Waiters are very attentive, and the man walking around with a platter of fresh bread is always there when your plate is empty. You receive appetizers and sweets without asking, and the grilled meats and salads are as good as any guidebook tells you. Of all the restaurants I have been to in the 5 months that I have lived here to date, this one tops my list for great Argentine cuisine.

I visited Cabañas las Lilas for the best asados and other typical Argentine foods like bife de chorizo and achuras (chorizos, morcilla, chinchulines, salchicha). They all tasted good and were well done.
