Don's Chinese Kitchen

My family and I enjoy eating at Don's Chinese Kitchen at the Parker Ranch Shopping Center Food Court. Their small eatery is located on the right side of the food court after you enter. The Parker Ranch Food Court is new and it is very beautiful. There is a fireplace in the center with chairs and tables surrounding the fireplace. Murals of the Parker Ranch and Paniolos (Cowboys) adorn the walls of the food court. The food at Don's Chinese Kitchen is hot and very tasty. The prices run about $4.75 for a choice of one entrée with rice or chow mein noodles. If you want two entrées with rice or noodles, then it runs about $5.75. A choice of three entrées with rice or noodles is about $6.75. Don's Chinese Kitchen also offers a catering menu which is perfect if you plan to have a graduation party or birthday party. Their catering menu is very expensive so be prepared to dish out about $39 for a small pan of orange, chicken, beef broccoli or sweet and sour pork. There is a lot of parking available in he front of the Parker Ranch Shopping Center. Bring a jacket because this town can get chilly since it is over 2,000 feet above sea level. You can get lovely views of Mauna Kea from Waimea town. We used to eat at the Don's Pake Kitchen on Mamalahoa Highway only a few miles away from Parker Ranch Shopping Center but it recently closed. I would recommend eating a plate lunch with two or three entrée choices if you enjoy eating delicious Chinese food at an affordable price.
