Bristol Harbour Resort has one of the best views of Canandaigua Lake. At their restaurant you can either sit inside and look outside big windows at the picturesque surroundings or sit outside on the patio. The restaurant is in an Adirondack style lodge, making it a little unique. Every time I've been there the food has been great, and they serve local Finger Lakes wines so you get a taste of the region.
There's lots to do nearby as well...one of my favorites that I'll keep going back to is Arbor Hill Grapery. It's a cute little winery and gift shop. The winery also makes great salad dressings and jellies.

Part of our package at the resort included dinner and breakfast one day. Both times, we ate outside overlooking the lake. The view was amazing! However, we were extremely disappointed in the food. My husband ordered ribs and there was barely any meat on the bones. I ordered boneless chicken wings from the bar which were OK. We both ordered dessert (Peanut Butter Pie) and it was scrumptious! Since we had leftover money for the dinner package we ordered 2 Chocolate Confusion Torte, which we ate for breakfast the next day. It tasted very good and it was very rich.
There was one day when we ate breakfast in the restaurant as well. My husband seemed to enjoy his breakfast of an omelet. I had a Belgian waffle which was OK. Also, I ordered a side of home fries. They were brought out after we received our food because they needed to cook some. The home fries were nasty!! They looked like potatoes with the skin removed that had been boiled. The potatoes were hard on the inside and obviously were undercooked.
Overall, I was just not impressed with the dining there. (except for the desserts!)
