My wife and I ate at Marandi's on recommendations we found online.

All I can say, is "WOW!!". We loved the restaurant.

When you arrive, you are seated in the open air "hut" facing the ocean. The servers are all very attentive.

They started us off with a freshly baked pumpkin bread with an olive/olive oil dip.

We then ordered an appetizer. I don't remember exactly what we had, (too many dinners during the week), but it was great.

For our main course, I had the Oriental duo. This consisted of 2 types of fresh fish in a sesame sauce served with rice and vegetables. My wife had the grouper special of the day. Both dishes were proportioned in just the right amount that you were full but not stuffed. Once again both dishes were excellently prepared and tasted wonderful.

As we had looked at the menus for our main course, I had glanced at the dessert menu and wanted each and every one of the desserts. Luckily, they have the Petit Grand Dessert which is a little bit of every one of the desserts. I actually got a comment from the waitress because I just had to finish the desert. She told me that not many people finish both the main course & that desert. I just couldn't stop myself.

As good as the food was, the main draw of the restaurant is the sunset. You want to make sure your reservations are for no later then 6:30 to allow you to get settled in your seat to enjoy the sunset. All of the tables face the water and the sunset. Every table in the place was taking pictures. The staff is very accommodating in taking pictures of you in front of the sunset.

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. I give it a 10 for service & food. My only comment would be, if you are in a wheelchair, you may have a little difficulty.
