Okay, I don't know how I never noticed this place and dragged my parents in when I was a child. But this was the highlight of my recent trip to Chinatown. I guess as a child, I saw "Haagen Daaz" (right down the street) and it looked familiar so I always got ice-cream there. But as you grow up, you learn that sometimes the brand names aren't always the best. I now know why there are rarely any people at the big Haagen Daaz store but there is a long line outside this store a little less than a block away. This place just rocks! Their ice-cream flavors are just SO unique. I had Lychee ice-cream. I think the price of one cup was $3 to $4. Other flavors I noticed were red bean, green tea, and almond. Oh, and mango was another popular one I kept hearing from customers as I stood there in their little store, being pushed by other customers, while I waited for my order. But it was all the wait and rude behavior by some. The lychee ice-cream was just heaven! There's no place to sit so you have to eat standing outside the store (there's a tiny garbage can located near the door) or walk around with your ice-cream while eating. I definitely recommend this place and will definitely go again! Really, I'm still trying to figure out how I missed this place when I was a child!
