Well, I have never before paid so much for so little. The best part of the 'experience' was leaving. It's unfortunate that my friends and I were so nice that we actually paid for the meal. Truly underwhelming. Let me go over some low-lights of our visit:

We had to wait 45 minutes for a table that was empty the whole time.
Every order had some element incorrect when it arrived.
Steak was flavourless and butterflied to save time in cooking it medium??
Prime rib was not hot.
The place was too screwed up to charge us for the wine properly—so serendipitously we at least didn't get screwed so badly with the drinks—although, what they did charge us for was still inaccurate.
Clean the tables for God's sake.
Potatoes came out on the wrong order.

I am not some CEO, just average Joe who believes in value for my hard earned dollar. I know how hard I worked to get it, I believe you should work hard to get it from me.

In a nutshell...this has got to be the biggest waste of money I have ever encountered. Terrible food, terrible service, outragous prices. Save yourself the heartache and go anywhere else.

The food at Lineberger's was wonderful. They have the best snow crab legs that I have ever had, and at a reasonable price. It was $25 for two pounds of crab legs. My husband's swordfish was the best he ever tasted. This is a wonderfully romantic restaurant with beautiful views of the smokies.
