There is a steakhouse-style restaurant just across the road from the resort that was very reasonable and nice, and there is another good restaurant next to the cultural centre that is within walking distance or, if you have small children, a $4 taxi ride. Also on the opposite side of the road, but to the left, whereas the restaurants are to the right, there are a couple of shops and an Indian restaurant. The Indian restaurant is very basic but cheap, and, of course, there is always food at the resort.
