Hard Rock Cafe

If you've never been to a Hard Rock Cafe, this one is representative of the rest as far as decor goes. They obviously have a mold for all their restaurants, and this one fits in perfectly. The table we sat at had Jackson Five memorabilia, which was neat to see.
The food here was sub-par. I never really enjoyed Hard Rock food in the states, to be honest, but this Hard Rock was especially nasty. I ordered the Twisted Mac, Chicken and cheese. I don't know why I was craving such comfort food, but I had an itch for it. As with Johnny Rockets, the cheese "sauce" Hard Rock used was slimy and gross. I don't know if it was processed American or what, but I did not like it one bit. I ate literally about three bites and asked my husband if he wanted to eat it. Even with his willingness to eat most things, he would not eat it.
My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich. I don't eat pork, but he said it was at par for pulled pork at a chain restaurant. It was no southern-cooking, even if we were south of the States!
The sodas were costly at about $3.50 and they were served in 10 ounce bottles (read: no refills). With my food tasting so bad, I actually ordered a second soda, which is really atypical of my budget-mindedness.
Also, watch out for photographers peddling their wares. The restaurant obviously gets some sort of cut from the photographs that are sold here because the waiters always stood patiently waiting for the photographers to finish peddling before they would approach the table for your order.
Even with my budget in mind, we spent about $50 for our lunch here. My advice: Go somewhere local and perhaps spend a little more, but enjoy your food!
