At the end of the day we were on the beach and fancied an early dinner and finding ourselves with a pushchair that didn't work too well on the sand and a long slog back. We decided to take our chances at the first restaurant we saw...
What surprised us, is that considering it was Papa's seafood and claimed to be Thai food all the way, there was a nice selection of sandwiches and fries.
But being our first day in Thailand, thought we'd better give the local cuisine a go and we were very happy with the results. I ordered beef in an oyster sauce and Min Chee ordered seafood rice, and we sat down to a lovely meal and watched the sunset.
This is the difficult part, because I want to recommend this restaurant highly--the food was good, less than half the price of the resort's, and the location was great. Having said that, it isn't worth a special trip, and the food wasn't the best Thai food I've had, so I'll settle for saying that if you're on the beach and peckish, then this is a cheap eat!
