Description: Want a delightful meal in a brand new restaurant in the middle of town? Trot yourself over to The Covey www.thecovey.com for a wonderful dining experience. A bonus is the brewery and brew pub in the same building. Plenty of free parking at the door.
So nice to be there on a too hot Texas afternoon. The beers on tap made in house are very fresh as they traveled all the way across the room. Our beautiful waitress was a charmer who led us through the long menu. If you want a hand made deluxe pizza, fine; but if you want a really great beautifully prepared and served full meal, you are in the right location.
I ordered a dish called 'Fresh Vegetable Ka-bobs ($12.95) and my sweetie had the salmon on a plank ($16.95). Both were excellent and mine especially was as pretty as a picture.
Save yourself for the desserts! I had a wonderful selection of ice cold homemade sorbets and my sweetie had a sweetie all his own, a fab creme brulee. Hang on to your hats as this restaurant is going to be a real winner and soon will be very hard to get into on weekend evenings. I predict...well I enjoyed!
It is great fun to be in on a new restaurant, especially one that is so special. If you are visiting Fort Worth, this restaurant is a few minutes from the Cultural District, Texas Christian University, and Colonial Golf Course. Located on Hulen about 1/2 way between I-30 and I-20 a few minutes west of downtown.
