This place consisted of little more than a balcony attached to a kitchen. The balcony held 8 tables, most of them large enough only for 2 people. Stopping by earlier in the evening and asking about availability netted us a promise for a cozy table with a view of the town below.
Like most Cinque Terre eating establishments, seafood was the specialty. It was all delicious but my favorite was the Antipasto di Mare. This turned out to be a variety of 5 different dishes- shrimp in a creamy sauce, smoked salmon, herring and calamari in a lemony sauce, and anchovies in a garlic sauce that was bread-mopping-worthy.
A huge feast with Antipasto, primi, secondi, dolci and a bottle of wine came to $70 for two. Fabuloso!
They are also open for lunch. Closed on Thursdays.
