Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel is a country store, restaurant and gift shop that features home style cooking. The food here is really good and it is just like being at home only you do not have to cook. The food is like mom's homecoookin'. I had the chicken and dumplings, yum, yum were they good. That's my favorite thing there, you get some rolls with your meal and a choice of sides including soup or salad, or any of there home cooked veggies like green beans, squash casserole, carrots, broccoli, corn, rice pilaf, and apples. Whatever you choose they are all great. It is hard to choose since there are so many to choose from.

The service was great, very friendly and nice, the server was very personal with our table and helpful with the picky eaters. Out food came out hot and delicious, and we did not have to wait long.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is very comfortable, just like being at home. The four of us had a good time. On the table is a little game to keep you occupied while waiting, maybe that's why it felt like it did not take that long for our food, it's a game that will keep you busy because you can never figure it out.

Along with the restaurant, they offer a country store and gift shop. They sell all kinds of stuff like mugs, coffee, candy, hats, toys, shirts and many other things as well. It is a cute little store with kind of high prices.

I would recommend this place wherever you go, you are sure to find one, stop in and enjoy a home cooked meal.
