Terrible Experience at Lee's

Terrible experience at Lee's Roadside in February of 2009. We paid for a fishing trip. In 4+ hours, we never even got a bite. It was $150 down the drain for a boring boat ride. Afterwards, the lady collected our money and countered my complaint with the clever phrase, "we don't go catching, we go fishing." Well that's fine, so long as you that Lee's doesn't know anything about fishing. To make up for it, they could have comped us a $10 meal, made us happy, and still profited $140 off us, but they chose not to. As a result, they proved they just want your money, not for you to be happy. I unfortunately recommend you avoid this place. There's too much good stuff on St Maarten's to go to Lee's.

This was a romantic, refreshing experience. It was very casual and laid-back. You can enjoy looking out over the bay right at dockside. The food was good, with generous portions.

This place is famous on the island for its seafood. Sit at the bar and say hi to Steve the bartender, or be seated at a table. Very casual atmosphere. We had grilled Mahi Mahi and clam chowder for an appetizer. Good food, good service, and reasonable prices.
