Atlantis Resort Room Service

I dug up some information on Atlantis Paradise Island that I thought IgoUgo readers might find useful: a copy of the Room Service Menu, circa 2004.
Here's what you need to remember: The Atlantis Resort is EXTREMELY expensive, and it's not just the room. As I've said in another review, the cost per night ($200 - $400 per night) is not out of line with what you'd pay at one of the Luxury Resorts at Walt Disney World (e.g. the Grand Floridian or the Polynesian). But at the Atlantis, the rooms are terrific, and the atmosphere and on-site entertainment is outstanding.
That being said, they really gouge you on the food. Here's a sample from the room service menu (and remember they'll add about 25% onto the cost for delivery, etc.
BREAKFAST:
American Breakfast: $16 (two eggs, bacon, break and coffee)
Splash Breakfast: $15 (Yogurt or granola, toast and coffee)
Continental Breakfast: $14 (rolls and coffee)
ALL-DAY DINING (drinks separate):
Caesar Salad: $10
Hamburger: $13
Spaghetti & Meatballs: $15
Pretty slim pickins, and pretty expensive. I don't believe we had a single meal in the room. We ate most of our meals at the Marketplace buffet (see separate review).
Before we went, we considered a dining plan, but on further review, we decided against it. You should consider carefully, when you call for your reservation, whether you and your party will consume enough food to make it worthwhile.
The prices of the meal plans change constantly, with the seasons.
