Most people are familiar with the Spaghetti Factory, so I don't need to say much. It is typical of others. The reason I am even mentioning this restaurant is that my husband and I had to do a lot of searching to even find a restaurant our four children would be able to eat at (not to mention the extravagant prices). If we didn't eat there, we would have had to leave the area to even find a restaurant under $100.00 (not including tax and tips) for the six of us. We tried that, but couldn't find one that would appeal to everyone in our group. We were forced to eat at fast food or cook in the timeshare for most of the week. The restaurants are really geared for adults.

The food, service, and price were unbeatable. It is very family-oriented with a great kids menu. The restaurant is also conveniently located in the main floor of the Crystal Lodge.

If you leave the Old Spaghetti Factory still hungry, I would be stunned. It is a popular place to dine in Whistler so try to go during non-peak dining times unless you don't mind the wait. The staff are courteous and attentive and the food is outstanding. Don't miss the French Onion Soup! We asked for the rest of my order packed to go and when it was accidentally thrown out by another staff member, they made a complete new order to send home with me, and all with a smile on their face. The replacement order was even more plentiful than my orginal. You will not find them trying to cut corners at The Old Spaghetti Factory. The atmosphere is friendly, the food great, and most meals include ice cream and coffee for dessert. Great value for the money.

This restaurant offers good value and good food. As the name suggests, it's main features are pasta dishes but there is also veal, steak and chicken. Every dinner includes salad or soup, warm sourdough bread with garlic or regular butter, coffee and spumoni ice cream. Portions are large and the atmosphere is fun (and sometimes noisy). The decor is nostalga with antiques, stained glass and tiffany style lighting. If you can't decide on just one sauce, you can order pasta with two or three different sauces - go ahead, be adventurous!
