Dave & Buster's is a large restaurant with an outside entrance in the Eastern Hills Mall, next to Orvis. The restaurant is loud and busy, but an enjoyable experience. There is a bar area, a game area, and the dining area. There are video screens everywhere with sports playing and a large train-station-style board that updates with dozens of sports scores. The main dining area is open and spacious, and there is a meeting room for large groups.
Dave & Buster's would not be my choice for a romantic date, but it would be good for a large group of friends (or maybe a date with someone you are worried you might run out of thing to say because the atmosphere gives many topics for discussion). Friday night is not a good time to come because it is very noisy, but any other time it is fun.
The food at Dave & Buster's is the main reason for coming. They have a large selection of typical American fair. (Overall, this restaurant is not too unlike TGI Friday's.) The fish-and-chips is very good: the batter is light and crispy and their version of tartar sauce is very unique. The Philly cheesesteak was a treat: the steak was seasoned perfectly, the meat shaved very thin, and the roll was huge. A trip to Dave & Buster's is a good choice for anyone looking for a large menu and a entertaining distraction after a day of shopping on Transit Road. It's worth a second trip.
