Café Vattan (The House), at Drottinggatan 81
You walk through this café as you enter the large home furnishings store, called The House. A few doors away the rococo building that houses the Strindberg Museum stands in contrast to the sleek Scandinavian design of everything in The House. On this street you can shop for lots of stuff, including imported rugs in an import shop with a café or buy hand-carved figures. You can also refuel at many cafes along the way. The Café Vattan is as light and sleekly modern as the Scandinavian furniture sold in the back of the store.
