After a long, hot day in Busch Gardens Williamsburg we just wanted to grab a bite to eat and go to bed. We decided to kill two birds with one stone by going to Bones Grand Slam Eatery which was also located in the hotel in which we were staying.
Bones serves your typical bar foods such as buffalo wings, cheeseburgers, salads, and nachos but if you are looking for a decent meal you can get that here also. We arrived late to Bones so we ordered some wings and burgers. The wings were very good and the burgers were also done to near perfection.
The service at Bones was effecient and friendly. The waitress was constantly checking on our table to see if we needed anything and all of our food arrived as ordered.
Even though we were a bit tired we managed a couple of beers at the bar. Since Bones is also a sports bar we watched a couple of games on the many television sets. If you are not in the mood to watch a game you can play some video games or darts to pass the time.
Bones Grand Slam Eatery definately fit our need. We came hungry and left full. The restaurant was not that busy so we were able to get our food almost immediately. The difference here was it was quick and friendly without all the fuss of a delayed outing.
Overall if you are looking for an inexpensive dining option this might be one of the best choices in Williamsburg.
