Eegee’s--A Tucson Original Since 1971

Eegee’s is the very definition of a Tucson thing. Its frosty beverages and yummy subs can only be found in Tucson, and that’s not going to change anytime soon.

The main thing Eegee’s is know for is its aptly named Eegee’s drinks. They are thick slushies made with real fruit and are the best thing to consume during our sweltering summer days (and they are yummy enough to consume the rest of the year). They come in four flavors: lemon (the original), strawberry (my personal favorite), pina colada (sans rum, of course), and a flavor of the month (my personal favorite is February’s root beer, in honor of rodeo).

The subs are pretty good, too. I’m partial to the Turkey Grinder, but the meatball sub is also very popular. In addition, Eegee’s is far better than those other sub shops because they offer french fries and not dinky little chips.

So when in Tucson, do as the Tucsonans do and eat at Eegee’s, not those other sub shops.
