Gonpachi

Gonpachi recreates the atmosphere of old Japan. Special seats are available for drinking sake, and the private rooms are arranged to allow a good view of the high-ceilinged restaurant. The top floor of the sushi restaurant has garden seats allowing you to escape and forget the busy city and for special occasions. The menu consists of handmade soba, original Japanese dishes using seasonal ingredients, grilled dishes, and sushi (both traditional and the original hand-rolled kind). Enjoy these feasts with the best Japanese sake and shochu, or an original cocktail. Lunch costs ¥1,200, and dinner is ¥3,500 (¥6,500 for dinner in the sushi restaurant). Koyzumi, the Japanese prime minister, took George. W. Bush to eat there.
