El Encanto is a charming Mexican restaurant on the main road in Cave Creek. The building is hacienda style, with a walled in courtyard for outdoor eating around a duck pond, indoor seating and a lounge. The outdoor dining is charming, especially at night, when it is lit with twinkling white lights on the trees. Inside there are large tables and comfortable booths.
The restaurant serves a wide selection of Mexican food that is considered to be the best in the area. There are enchiladas, burritos, chimichangas and all the usual Mexican fare. Portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The Margueritas are fantastic. This is a great place to take a large crowd for great Mexican food and a fun family atmosphere.
