Included in the price of the stay at Hedonism III, Munahana is far and away the best restaurant on-site. It is a six-course meal of excellent quality. Service is Jamaican; cuisine is Japanese.

Wines to choose from are a Cabernet and a Sauvignon Blanc. The Cabernet is great.

Your meal begins with a salad of lettuce and sesame dressing. It is light and refreshing.

Course two is miso soup. The portion is small, and the flavour is large.

Course three is a sushi sampler plate. With one salmon sushi, two California rolls, and sides of wasabi and ginger, your palate is awakened with a start.

The fourth course is tempura vegetables and shrimp. The batter is slightly too thick to be authentic, but the flavour is excellent.

The main course is a spectacle in itself. People are sat in groups of eight at cooking tables. The chef prepares the rice, vegetables, and meat in front of you. Choose from beef, chicken, snapper, shrimp, or a sampling of all four. Particular accolades to the beef and the snapper.

Dessert is green tea ice cream. Decent, but not fabulous.
