Sweet Basilico in beautiful and friendly Estes Park, CO, is a place we'd like to take credit for discovering. Unfortunately (well, no, actually very fortunately!), we read about it in some guidebook to Colorado or another. I'm not even a huge fan of Italian food, but the food here is fantastic. The second we pulled up and smelled the amazing fresh marinara wafting through the window, we knew we'd found a winner. There are only a few tables--I'd estimate about six to seven inside and maybe two to four upstairs on the rooftop patio. Therefore, I'd definitely suggest calling ahead to reserve a table. If you don't or can't, as we didn't, just meander around town for a bit until your table is ready. I suggest the chicken parmesan; however, I managed to sample just about everything at our table, and all of it was delicious.
Definitely don't miss out on this adorable, cozy, delicious spot! It's my favorite place to eat in Estes Park and maybe even my favorite Italian place ever!
