Les droits des hommes (St. Maurt)

This boulangerie is a part of a hotel in this quarter of Paris. It’s one of the thousands of places the Parisians go for their Croissant or Baguette and a coffee in the morning, read the newspaper, and discuss the latest gossip and events in the area or world. Why do I recommend it? It’s part of French life style in Paris. Because it’s in the outskirts you’ll get half a baguette with French cheese, tasty paté, or what else they offer for around 2 Euros! We paid six for a quarter baguette not half as tasty in the center (it was an emergency) and sadly this kind of rip off is standard.

The baguette is usually from the bakery next door and the coffee is like the one you know from home. You’ll find places like this around each RER station, try to get one not too close to it. You will enjoy this breakfast and it’s a good start before you go to the local markets I recommended before.
