We wanted to try some of the local flavor so we were told by many of the locals to go to "Fish Fry" which is sort of a Bahamian Bourbon Street that happens every Sunday night outside of downtown Nassau. It is a series of restaurants and bars lined up on a long strip by the water. We had fresh fried snapper, peas and rice and coleslaw for $9.00 at a restaurant called Twin Brothers located on the strip. The best meal we had during our stay!
